Carrie Schreiner begins the GT Winter Series with Konrad Lamborghini

26-year-old Saarland native Carrie Schreiner will be competing in the three remaining events of the GT Winter Series in Valencia, Aragon and Barcelona on the team headed by motorsports legend Franz Konrad.
Her weapon of choice will be the tried-and-tested Lamborghini Huracán Evo GT3 and her teammate is speedy American driver Danny Soufi, reigning runner-up of the ADAC Prototype Cup Germany.
Carrie was previously crowned champion of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East with Konrad Motorsport. The Sauber F1 brand ambassador is excited about her return to GT3:
‘My entire family has always had a very friendly relationship with Franz Konrad over the years, so I am particularly delighted to be back in a GT3 race with his team. Our 2018 championship was so unexpected and emotional, I will never forget it! The Winter Series in southern Europe has now established itself as Europe’s top motorsport destination in multiple categories. Many top teams and drivers have announced that they are participating in the last three events. This is perfect, and provides ideal preparation for the ADAC GT Masters. I am not worried about switching back from formula racing into a GT car. We have a test day every Friday, which is a good time for me to get back in the swing of things. After a two-month break, I am feeling refreshed, on top form and fully motivated!’
Upcoming dates for the GT Winter Series
