Carrie Schreiner heading to 24 Hours of Spa

A classic awaits – with Carrie in the midst of things

From 24 to 28 June 2026, Carrie Schreiner will be competing in one of the world’s most important GT endurance races: the 24 Hours of Spa. This longstanding Belgian race is being held for the 78th time in 2026, with an exceptionally large field of 76 GT3 vehicles as it currently stands. More than 100,000 spectators are expected – along with temperatures above the 30‑degree mark, which are likely to have a major impact on the race.

For the Saarland racing driver, this will be one of the most intense weekends of the year in terms of both sport and atmosphere. Spa‑Francorchamps forms the core of the GT World Challenge Europe and attracts top teams, manufacturers and drivers to the Ardennes every year.

A personal highlight

Carrie Schreiner has long been fascinated with this race – initially as a fan and now on the starting grid. ‘I used to watch 24 Hours of Spa from the outside. Driving here now means a lot to me. This is a unique route, and the atmosphere throughout the weekend is something very special’, she noted.

The 27‑year‑old will be competing for Tresor Attempto Racing in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II with the starting number 88. The quartet of drivers has an international flavour: she will be sharing the driving seat with Daniele Di Amato of Italy, Georgios Kolovos of Greece and Sergio Sette Camara of Brazil.

Sette Camara also offers experience from Formula 2, Formula E and Formula 1 – including as a test and reserve driver for McLaren, Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri.

Bronze Cup with a strong field

The team are driving in the Bronze Cup, which is the largest class in this year’s lineup with 19 vehicles. A total of 76 GT3 cars will be competing across five categories: Pro, Gold Cup, Silver Cup, Bronze Cup and Pro‑Am.

The preliminary list includes more than 250 drivers from 43 countries, including 15 past overall winners. The combination of international elite, brand variety and a demanding circuit makes the race one of the biggest challenges in GT sport.

A weekend full of stress

The 24 Hours of Spa is considered one of the hardest GT3 races in the world. The over seven‑kilometre circuit, the changeable Ardennes weather and the extremely high performance standards are demanding for teams and drivers throughout. For Carrie Schreiner, this means a weekend of huge concentration, physical strain and tactical precision.

As Carrie clearly put it before the start: ‘We know how strong the field is – that is its appeal. There is a huge number of GT3 cars. I am looking forward to tackling this challenge with my teammates and Tresor Attempto Racing, and hopefully enjoying a successful weekend.’
