Full speed ahead: Team75 Motorsport enters the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe

Preparing for the season at competition pace: in January and February, Team75 Motorsport will be making its debut on the grid of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe, held on the Iberian Peninsula. There will be four races: 24-25 January and 30-31 January in Estoril (Portugal), 20-21 February in Valencia and 27-28 February in Barcelona (both Spain). They will serve as early test runs for the 2026 season of the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany, Team75 Motorsport’s core commitment.
The team from Palatinate Landstuhl will be lining up at the start in a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup driven by Marco Giltrap. The 21-year-old New Zealand’s successes include winning the Porsche Sprint Challenge Australia in 2023, and in 2024 he finished eighth of 30 starters in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe. Marco has also raced in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, where he finished tenth in the pro rankings and third in the junior rankings last year.
Marco Giltrap: ‘I am very excited to be lining up on the grid at the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe with Team75 Motorsport. This top-quality series will be a challenging test for me. I am already impatient to start work with such a professional team who can further boost my development as a driver. I am very grateful for this opportunity and can hardly wait to get started.’
It is great to be starting the new season by competing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe.

Team owner Timo Bernhard: ‘It is great to be starting the new season by competing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe. We have a talented driver on our team in the shape of Marco Giltrap. I have known the Giltrap family for many years: they are a motorsport institution in New Zealand and Australia and have helped and supported many young talents in their careers. Some of them, such as Earl Bamber, have even come to drive for us at Team75 Motorsport. We celebrated our first Porsche Carrera Cup Germany wins with him in 2014, then in 2017 Brendon Hartley and I won 24 Hours of Le Mans and the World Endurance Championship title. And now we have come full circle. So I am very proud that Marco will be on the starting grid with us.’
Team boss Jennifer Leising: ‘I am delighted that we are driving in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Europe in January. This is the perfect preparation for our upcoming Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany season. We have a young, talented driver from New Zealand in Marco Giltrap, and I am very much looking forward to working with him. I also think it’s great for Team75 that the series gets going in January. This means that we can start the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany with the wind in our sails.’
