PROWIN VOLLEYS LOVE THE THRILL

Last Saturday evening, the proWIN Volleys TV Holz team once again ensured exciting play at their away game. Following a tough five-set match, the team were able to triumph 3:2 against VC Offenburg. For the third time in a row, the team from Saarland had to go the distance, each time managing to win in the tiebreak. The two previous season games against VfR Umkirch and VfB Ulm were also won in the final deciding set. Clearly, the Holz team loves the thrill.

The victory is further proof of the team’s fantastic performance and ability to cope under pressure. Once again, the team has demonstrated that they can pull together even in difficult situations, will fight right down to the last point, and believe in themselves.

It also represents a vital success for the volleyball players, securing them second place in the 3. Liga Süd league and putting them in a strong position for their upcoming games.

Next week is free of play to allow the players to recover from their recent five-set epics, and then on 19 March the proWIN Volleys are back at home in the multipurpose hall of Saarbrücken’s Olympic Training Centre to face VfR Umkirch once again. 25 March will most likely see a top duel with league leaders TSV GA Stuttgart. Expect thrills aplenty!
