Team75 Motorsport: looking forward to the season finale at the Hockenheimring

This weekend (18 to 20 October 2024) sees the eagerly awaited season finale of the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany. It is being held at the legendary Hockenheimring, where the top drivers and teams will face each other one final time in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. The ambitious Team75 Motorsport from Landstuhl will be right in the thick of things, with drivers Robert de Haan and Janne Stiak on the starting line.

Excitement before the final

17-year-old Dutch driver Robert de Haan has established himself as one of this season’s most promising drivers. He is currently fourth in the overall rankings and second in the rookie rankings. At just a handful of points behind the leader, de Haan still has every chance of securing an overall win in the rookie category. His teammate Janne Stiak, also 17 years old, has had a similarly strong season and has gone down in the history books as the youngest ever winner of a Carrera Cup race. Stiak is currently eleventh in the overall rankings.

Team75 Motorsport: a strong team

Team75 Motorsport – owned by former Carrera Cup champion and two-time Le Mans winner Timo Bernhard and headed by team boss Jennifer Leising – has established itself this season as a competitor that needs to be taken seriously. The team is currently sitting in fourth in the team rankings and has proved its worth with a consistently strong performance in its first year.

Record series for Team75 Motorsport

Team75 Motorsport has written a very special chapter in its history with the impressive record series it has enjoyed this season. This started with Robert de Haan, who became the youngest ever winner of the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany with his first win in Oschersleben in April 2024 at the age of 17 years and 10 months. However, this record only stood for a brief period until Janne Stiak triumphed at the Sachsenring in September 2024 at the age of 17 years and 5 months, entering the history books as the youngest winner of all time. It is worth noting that previous holders of this record include none other than Timo Bernhard himself, who earned the title in 2000 at the age of nineteen.

Hopes and expectations

All of the title races remain open – so the final at the Hockenheimring could scarcely be any more exciting. Robert de Haan has an opportunity to secure the rookie title and thus set another milestone in his young career. Janne Stiak will also be doing all he can to round off his impressive season with another strong result. The whole of Team75 Motorsport is highly motivated and ready to give their all at the season finale.
