The pursuit of gold can begin

The Summer Olympic Games is one of the largest international sporting events, where the best athletes in the world line up alongside each other to compete. This year, the spectacular event is taking place in Paris from 26 July to 11 August. Once again, competitors will be seeking medals and podium finishes in a wide range of sports: from athletics to gymnastics to volleyball, there is something to suit any sports fan. We can therefore look forward to impressive performances, new records and exciting stories.

Tickets for Paris secured

Some of our HYLO® athletes will also be ready on the starting line for the Games. They have been preparing for this very special major event for the past four years. Competing at the Olympics is the culmination of strict training and tireless commitment. These include triathlete Tim Hellwig and Germany’s top gymnasts. As soon as the Summer Olympics are over, from 28 August to 8 September our focus will turn to the two Paralympic boccia players Anita Raguwaran and Boris Nicolai.

This will be an exciting occasion for our athletes in Paris, and we in Saarland are all firmly crossing our fingers. We wish everyone personal bests and above all lots of unique moments. We will of course keep you updated to make sure that you do not miss a thing.
