URSAPHARM Fight Night IV in Saarlouis: boxing night brimming with highlights and title bouts

Doberstein defends world championship title on Saarland soil for the first time
On 21 February, Stadtgartenhalle Saarlouis will become a showcase for top-class elite boxing: URSAPHARM Fight Night IV from 6 p.m. offers an exciting evening of combat sport to delight fans and newcomers alike. The programme initially includes six exciting preliminary fights in various weight classes, followed by two world championship title defences and a battle for a vacant intercontinental title, bringing emotional stories to life in the boxing ring. Having numerous title and world championship fights in a single evening is a first for Saarland.
Marc Speicher, mayor of Saarlouis, said: ‘For us in the European city of Saarlouis – and for me personally, I might add – it is a great pleasure and honour to be hosting a real sporting highlight in Saarlouis with two world championship boxing fights. This is an exceptional highlight and Jürgen Doberstein is an outstanding athlete from right here on the Saar.’

The preliminary fights will see competitors such as 23-year-old professional Berlin boxer Maurice Milcke stepping into the ring. Milcke has won eight of his professional fights so far by knockout and is the reigning GBC intercontinental champion in the super welterweight class. In Saarlouis, he will be now stepping up a class to middleweight to battle it out for the vacant GBC intercontinental title. Salah Jahel, aka Prince Salah, will also be competing in one of the preliminary fights. Salah was the GBA international German champion in the welterweight class.
Yakup Saglam, GBC world champion in the heavyweight class, will be facing Mexican boxer Manuel Cosme Sosa to defend his title. Saglam has an impressive 77.36% knockout rate. He has already faced five world champions in the ring, including Joseph Parker and Mahmoud Charr. Saglam became world champion on 24 May 2025 following a technical knockout in the eighth round. Saglam possesses impressive size and presence. He is already clearly looking forward to the duel. His opponent is the Mexican heavyweight champion and is travelling from Mexico specially for the upcoming world championship fight.
The absolute highlight of the evening is the major title defence for local hero and public favourite Jürgen Doberstein, who has been GBC world champion in the super middleweight class since 2024. At URSAPHARM Fight Night IV, he will be facing French boxer Pierre Hubert Dibombe. Dibombe has been a professional boxer since 2014 and is currently 61st in the world rankings. He celebrated winning the French championship in 2017, followed by the WBA intercontinental championship in 2018 and the European championship in 2019. Out of 24 professional fights, Dibombe has chalked up 13 knockout wins. Doberstein’s fight with Dibombe promises to be an exciting spectacle full of emotion and passion.
‘We are working very hard to give the fans an unforgettable experience. The combination of top-quality boxing, regional roots and exciting world championship titles will make URSAPHARM Fight Night IV an exciting evening in Saarlouis’, Jürgen Doberstein‘s manager Michael Schultheis said. ‘We are proud that we have managed to put on a boxing event like this in Saarland for the first time ever.’

Minister-President Anke Rehlinger is the event’s patron. Reinhold Jost, Minister of the Interior, Construction and Sport, and David Lindemann, Head of the State Chancellery, will be attending URSAPHARM Fight Night IV.
Well-known commentators – including voice of German boxing Tobias Drews and renowned German boxer and multi-time world champion Arthur Abraham – will be imparting their expertise to boxing fans throughout the evening. Abraham, known as ‘King Arthur’, was the undefeated IBF world champion in the middleweight class and then WBO world champion in the super middleweight class.
As the main sponsor, we are particularly delighted to be broadcasting Fight Night across the world as a live stream, making it available to an international audience. ‘We are proud to be helping Jürgen once again on his path to defending the world championship title. His energy, determination and professional standards reflect values that are also vital to us at URSAPHARM. We are looking forward to an exciting Fight Night and will be crossing our fingers for Jürgen’s fight’, said Boris Röder, Head of Corporate Communications at URSAPHARM.
Jürgen Doberstein emphasised that it will be a major challenge: ‘I am hugely looking forward to defending my title, as the title has always driven and motivated me. At the same time, I know that it will be a tough test and a major challenge. I will give my all to defend my title in my home state of Saarland under very difficult conditions. Every moment in the ring counts. I will be focusing on using my strengths and fighting smartly. My opponent is strong and the effort immense, but my desire to defend this title is greater than any of the difficulties I am facing.’
