Team75 Motorsport

Team75 Motorsport is a Saar-Palatinate motorsport team, founded in 2010 by two-time Le Mans winner and two-time endurance racing champion Timo Bernhard and his father. After starting out in rally sport, in 2013 the team joined the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. 2016 saw the team’s first appearance in the ADAC GT Masters Series, alongside the VLN Endurance Racing Championship in 2017. Entry to the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) followed in 2022. The team has made its mark in the DTM in the last two years, with two wins, several podium finishes, and one pole position.
In 2024, Team75 Motorsport renewed its commitment to promoting young talent and entered two Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars from the latest 992 series in the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany for promising young drivers. Team75 therefore devoted its entire driver lineup to young talent, in the shape of Robert de Haan (17, Netherlands) and Janne Stiak (17, Germany).

Team75 Motorsport FAQs

Team75 Motorsport’s goal is to establish itself in the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany over the next few years, achieve consistently good performances, and finish in the top three.

Timo Bernhard and his team colleagues were able to win the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans race in 2010 and 2017. In 2010, Timo Bernhard was part of the Audi Sport North America team and drove the Audi R15 TDI, whilst in 2017 he took to the wheel of the Porsche 919 hybrid for the Porsche LMP team.

The driver lineup reflects the team’s increased focus on upcoming talent, so is devoted entirely to young competitors: Robert de Haan, born 2006, became champion of the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux in 2023 and finished sixth in the British Porsche Carrera Cup. Janne Stiak, born 2007, joined the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany in 2023 after a karting career, making him the youngest driver ever to compete in this brand cup.

Timo Bernhard discovered motorsport thanks to karting with his father at the age of 10. Formula Ford and the Porsche Carrera Cup were followed by stints as a factory driver for Porsche and Audi. Timo Bernhard is a two-time endurance world champion and two-time winner of the legendary 24-hour Le Mans race.

Timo Bernhard holds the world record for the fastest ever lap of the north loop of the Nürburgring. On 29 June 2018 he achieved a new lap record of 5:19.546 minutes in a Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo, beating Stefan Bellof’s 28 May 1983 record of 6:11.13 minutes. His average speed on the record lap was an incredible 234.69 km/h. You can watch the record lap here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQmSUHhP3ug
