Since 15 December, competitors have been fighting it out in London for the most important title in darts: the PDC World Darts Championship (officially the William Hill World Darts Championship) is taking place for the 29th time.
The 96 players include German darts professional Gabriel Clemens: the 38-year-old from Saarland is using the time before his first tournament – which takes place just before the Christmas break – to prepare and train. The ‘German giant’ has some difficult opponents in store, but also has a shot at some prize money: a total of £2.5 million will be paid out at the Championship, with the winner walking away with £500,000. As an official partner of the 2022 world darts championship, we would like to wish Gabriel Clemens the best of luck and every success.
The show is also available to watch on TV: the darts world championship will be broadcast on the free-to-air channel Sport1 and also via the DAZN streaming service.
