HISTORIC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WEEK FOR 1. FC SAARBRÜCKEN TABLE TENNIS

1. FC Saarbrücken Table Tennis have the two semi-finals in the Champions League coming up this week. For the third time in a row, the Saarland table tennis team is among the best 4 teams in Europe. For the first time in the history of Europe’s premier league, Germany is fielding all four semi-finalists. A novelty that underlines the high quality of the teams in the TTBL Table Tennis Bundesliga.

In addition to the Saarland team led by captain Patrick Franziska, record winners Borussia Düsseldorf with Timo Boll, TTC Neu-Ulm with Dimitrij Ovtcharov among others and Post SV Mühlhausen are among the best four teams in Europe. 

The 1st FCS TT will kick off the German Champions League week on 14 February at Post SV Mühlhausen. The return match in the Joachim-Deckarm Halle in Saarbrücken will take place on Sunday, 19 February, starting at 2 p.m. 

The team from Saarbrücken is determined to make it to the final of the Champions League in front of its own fans and play in the Champions League final for the second time in the club’s history.
