LEAPING INTO GERMANY’S TOP GYMNASTICS LEAGUE

TG Saar is beginning the new 2023 season of the Deutsche Turnliga (DTL) gymnastics league on 4 March with a home competition. On Saturday evening from 6 p.m., the young Saarland team will be meeting record champions and last season’s runner up SC Cottbus at the Kreissporthalle in Dillingen.

The gymnastics team, including Junior European Champion Daniel Mousichidis, is particularly motivated to tackle this challenge. The Saarlanders are determined to forget last year’s unsuccessful debut to the season, which the gymnasts began with a 0:12 score in Cottbus.

The team overseen by trainer Eugen Spiridonov is well prepared for this first competition of the national league. It could even set the tone for the rest of the reason, keeping sight of the end goal to reach the final tournament.

The Saar gymnasts will therefore do their utmost to give themselves a flying start with an opening victory against their Spree rivals.

The team is looking forward to vocal support from Saarland’s many gymnastics fans and elite sport enthusiasts.
