Team75 Motorsport: full throttle into the 2024 season

A new chapter is beginning for Team75 Motorsport, with a return to the well-established Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and an exciting international collaboration.

The wait is finally over: last weekend (19 to 21 April 2024), Team75 Bernhard began the new season of the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany in Imola, northern Italy. The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car will offer exciting action on this track in Emilia-Romagna, also used by Formula 1.

Return to Porsche Carrera Cup Germany

Timo Bernhard is taking his team back to their roots at the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. Team75 Motorsport are returning to this prestigious brand trophy with two Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars from the latest 992 run. The return continues the success story that began in 2001 with Bernhard’s overall win in this series, before victories and double victories between 2013 and 2016.

The Palatinate team will once again be increasingly involved in promoting young talent in the future and will incorporate promising talents into the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. Team75 is therefore focusing on the younger generation in its choice of drivers. With the two talented 17-year-olds Robert de Haan and Janne Stiak at the wheel of the racing cars, the team is looking forward to a promising season. The Porsche with the starting number 14 will be driven by Robert de Haan (Eerbeek/Netherlands). Janne Stiak (Steinhude/Wunstorf) will be behind the wheel of its sister car with the starting number of 15.

‘I am very proud that we are bringing a very competitive package for our return to the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. The car with the starting number 14 will feature a huge talent in the Porsche motorsport pyramid: Robert de Haan is the reigning champion of the Carrera Cup Benelux. The sister car with the starting number 15 will have a younger driver on his second Carrera Cup season: Janne Stiak has had an impressive learning curve, most recently in starts at the Carrera Cup Middle East. Our crew of engineers and mechanics, already experienced in the DTM and under the leadership of team boss Jennifer Leising, will also be in action.’

New horizons for motorsport – international collaboration

The 2024 season represents not only a return to a familiar racing series, but also new international challenges for Team75 Motorsport. The collaboration with the Phantom Global Racing (PGR) team from China in the World Challenge Asia is particularly exciting. Team75 will be contributing their full experience to the GT World Challenge Asia and their Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. The partnership celebrated a positive start with fourth place at the Bathurst 12 Hour in Australia. Team owner Timo Bernhard, two-time world endurance champion and Le Mans overall winner, even took position behind the wheel at the Sepang 12 Hours in Malaysia. Other international endurance classics are also being planned.

Promoting young talent

As well as this international involvement, promoting young talent is another key priority for Team75 Motorsport. The team is working hard to promote young talent with programmes ranging from karting to the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy with Daniel Gregor and the Tourenwagen Junior Cup with Alex Mohr. The 2024 racing season promises an intense, varied motorsport experience with Team75.
