OUR SV ELVERSBERG FACES ONE OF THE BIGGER HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS SEASON NEXT SATURDAY: HAMBURGER SV IS COMING TO KAISERLINDE

The international break came just at the right time for Horst Steffen and his coaching team. “We always have pieces of content that we can improve and we used the time accordingly,” says Steffen. “Wahid Faghir was the only one who was away with his national team. Apart from that, the guys who were out sick have found their feet again.” As things stand, only Kevin Koffi and Robin Fellhauer are still missing against HSV, all the others are ready for action. “The boys have been focused lately,” says Horst Steffen, also looking back at the last game and the first win of the season in the 2nd division. “We are happy that we got three points in Osnabrück and can now go into the game against HSV with a win.”

The national league dinosaurs will be a big challenge for our team. “The sequences are clear at HSV, they already have a foundation there. They also kept their coach, which had an impact because the boys didn’t have to learn anything new. And the players who have joined the team seem to have quickly internalised what the coach wants. There is a clear structure in all phases of the game, plus strong individual quality.” However, the goal is also clear against HSV: “We know we have to work very hard to be able to compete and get three points if possible.”
