EASTER TABLE TENNIS SHOW IN SAARBRÜCKEN

1. FC Saarbrücken Tischtennis seeking to defend their title at the Champions League Men Final Four 2023/2024 on Easter Sunday and Monday in Saarbrücken

On 31 March and 1 April 2024, the Saarlandhalle in Saarbrücken will be the arena for the prestigious Champions League Final Four. As the hosts and reigning Champions League winners, 1. FC Saarbrücken are looking forward to holding the first final-round tournament in the history of elite European table tennis.

The list of participants is fantastic: as well as the Saarbrücken hosts, these include German record-holder and seven-time Champions League winners Borussia Düsseldorf and 2023 German cup winners Neu-Ulm. The quartet is rounded out by the surprise team from Austria, TT Wiener Neustadt.

The teams will battle it out for the European crown in two semi-finals and a final. Fans can expect an exciting weekend with some of the best table-tennis players in the world: top stars such as Timo Boll, Dang Qiu, Patrick Franziska, Darko Jorgic, Dimitrij Ovtcharov, Truls Moregard and Quadri Aruna are all serving in Saarbrücken.

Tournament schedule:

Easter Sunday, 31 March 2024:

  • 1st semi-final: 1 p.m.: TT Wiener Neustadt vs. Borussia Düsseldorf
  • 2nd semi-final: approx. 5 p.m.: 1. FC Saarbrücken TT vs. TTC Neu-Ulm

Easter Monday, 1 April 2024:

  • Final: 2 p.m.

1. FCS TT are ready and waiting to defend their title and are looking forward to the support from their fans in the Saarlandhalle. This promises to be an unforgettable Easter weekend full of captivating duels and exciting table tennis. Who will secure the elite title? The answer will come at the Easter weekend in Saarbrücken.
