U17 Jungfüchse also become German champions

Congratulations to our partners Füchse Berlin in the nation’s capital: following in the footsteps of the youth A team, the B team of this longstanding handball club has now also won the German Championships. During a successful season, the Berlin team moved confidently from the last sixteen through to the final. The course was already well set for the championship with a resounding 31:19 (14:8) home win in the first leg against the HSV Hamburg U17s.

At the second leg in Hamburg, the Berlin team were able to take the lead in the first half despite fierce resistance from the Hamburg finalists and entered half-time one point up. HSV tried everything once again in the second half, but ultimately had to accept the victory and thus their first home defeat against the Füchse Berlin U17s with a score of 32:25.
